Travel
Most guests will likely fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO), since it offers the most direct flight options. From SFO, it’s about a 2 to 2.5-hour drive down the coast to Carmel.
San Jose International Airport (SJC) is a bit closer—about 1.5 hours away by car.
As you book your flights, please keep in mind that driving during rush hour from these airports could add up to an hour to your travel time.
For the quickest trip, check flights into Monterey Regional Airport (MRY). It’s a 10–15 minute drive from the terminal to downtown Carmel, making it the closest option if it works with your travel plans.
Stay
We have a room block at Carmel Valley Ranch, where all the major wedding events will be hosted—perfect for enjoying a fun, "campus-like" feel with our other guests. It also has amenities including: a gym, golf course, pools, pickleball courts, and acres of beautiful hills for hiking and biking. Guests can also check out the daily Activity Calendar to take advantage of yoga classes, beekeeping workshops, and more.
Carmel-by-the-Sea is just a 15-minute drive away and is full of charming bed and breakfasts, each with loads of personality. We have a room block at the Pine Inn, a fun, quaint B&B with an Il Fornio restaurant for coffee and lunches. If you're staying in Carmel-by-the-Sea, you'll be steps away from unique shops, galleries, and the beautiful beach. Below are also some of our favorite B&Bs with a variety of styles and vibes, but there are a number of charming options to choose from. All offer a unique Carmel experience!
Please note that the Friday of our wedding is the Juneteenth national holiday, making our wedding a three-day weekend. The area books quickly, so we highly recommend securing your accommodations as soon as possible. There will be shuttle stops in Carmel-by-the-Sea for easy transportation to and from the welcome party and wedding.

Lamplighter Inn & Forest Lodge
Sister B&Bs with a cozy, laid-back vibe; located in different spots but share the same reservation site. Lamplighter is in the middle of downtown and is typically slightly more expensive with a nautical theme, whereas Forest Lodge has a cottage vibe to it and is located at the start of downtown.
A charming inn with a French flair—There are both hotel rooms and even some private cottages to book.
Classic Carmel charm with garden paths and a friendly, welcoming feel.
Bright, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the town.
